THE 30-SECOND BRIEF
Iberia Parish plans a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement with Capital Area Finance Authority so CAFA can offer its homebuyer grant programs locally through approved lenders. This expands down payment/closing cost assistance for eligible parish residents, likely leveraging existing state or bond-funded products. Lenders, housing counselors, and program administrators have an opening to support implementation, marketing, compliance, and pipeline development once the agreement is executed.
Actual grant dollars are not stated; value here is a placeholder estimate to flag significance, not a documented amount.
